Alfred
has been working on some new and exciting techniques, these two
images depict a wonderful rendition of a textured "Black Bull.
We should expect to see many more new creations in this genre in the
near future.

Gockel was a guest of honor at the Sixth Annual Andy Roddick Charity
Weekend.
Nicky Hilton, Mandy Moore, Venus
and Serena Williams, Josh Kelly, Jason Taylor, Mary Lynn Rajskub,
Michael Tolcher, Tyler Hilton, Jamie Gold, the cast of MTV’s 8th and
Ocean, and many others joined Andy Roddick at the Hard Rock Live at
the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL for a Texas
Hold ‘Em Charity Tournament presented by WPT EventsTM.
Guests enjoyed musical performances
by Josh Kelly, Tyler Hilton and Jason Taylor while playing poker
with celebrity guests.
Alfred painted live and several of his works were sold and the
proceeds added to the 1.4 million to help combat childhood abuse,
neglect and illness.
Andy himself purchased one of the
images painted by Alfred with spirited bidding from many of the
guests in attendance. Alfred was also interview for a piece by TV's
Decco Drive which aired the following evening. |

$100K for Breast Cancer at Charity Golf Classic
Third Annual Birdies for Breast Cancer fundraiser a huge success due to
Kerr, corporate sponsors, and event participants.
CORAL GABLES, FL -December 19, 2005 -- A record-breaking $100,000 was
raised at this year's Birdies for Breast Cancer Charity Golf
Classic, hosted by Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) star
Cristie Kerr.
This annual event took place on December 3, 2005 at the
Reunion Resort & Club outside of Orlando, Florida. Kerr's charity
foundation, Birdies for Breast Cancer, is proud to distribute the
proceeds to the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, newly dedicated
Kathryn Krickstein Pressel Memorial Fund of the Florida Hospital Cancer
Institute and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation."
Birdies for Breast Cancer
Gockel generously donated the original 55"x39" acrylic on canvas
painting to the charity.
It was auctioned off along with
reproductions of the paintings during the golf event.
All proceeds went to support breast cancer research. |

One of the Olympic Committee's official artists for the 2006 Torino Winter
Games.
Famed pop artist and action painter, Alfred Gockel, was commissioned
by the United States Olympic committee to create an official piece of
artwork for the 2006 Olympics in Turin, Italy.
His art work was inspired by the greatness of winter Olympic sports
including skiing, bobsledding, and hockey. His use of amazing style,
flair, and color help depict his vision. |
