Alfred was invited to present his Berlin walls artwork in the German embassy in Athens.
It was the 20th Anniversary of the reunification of Germany.
More than 1000 guests took part at the official introduction of the new Ambassador of Germany in Athens.

20 years after the Berlin wall was opened, Alfred Gockel and the Anders in Lünen Gallery (Germany) decided to create a painting on one of the last existing original wall pieces.
It shows the struggle of Germany during the cold war between the USSR and the USA.
A steel sculpture on top shows the excited people on November 9th, 1989 jumping on that wall.
